The following guidelines can be modified to suit needs and conditions.
A typical non-residential day starts at 0830, (but you’re allowed to be late), has two 3 hour activity sessions, a review of your day and finishes at 1730. Your first day has an essential introduction to our methods and the structure of the Irish language. This is where we shortcut things...

Eight of our 2-Day residentials will give you a solid independent fluency in Irish.
A lot of our activities can be done on a day basis, though you will need some residentials to get a full home-language fluency.
A typical residential day at
starts with getting up and having breakfast in the home in which you stay. We will then meet in a central location, which could be the house you're staying in, for the first of the day's activities. This will be followed by a break, during which you can use your first language, if necessary, in the designated area. You can escape for a break any time, by the way, but we carry on in your absence. Then we have lunch, together, using Irish. As we build your language competence, you will find less and less problem handling this guided, structured immersion. The second activity will contrast with the first and will be followed by a break, dinner and an optional evening cultural activity which will allow you a passive, relaxed session – more as an audience than during the day.
You can create your own programme choosing from a range of activities, though language-management aspects will influence this to some extent. We offer a wide range of activities both inside and outside the home. Your participation will extend the language's usage, provide sustainable employment and give you a deep insight into the culture of which the language is an integral part. You will acquire the language that is rooted in this culture, just as you would if you were in an area where you have no language in common with the people.
At
you will meet people of all ages, but especially you will meet young people, as our emphasis is strongly on the future.
We cater for all types of individuals and groups: school, college and university groups, Gaisce, corporate groups, voluntary organisations, groups of friends, those wishing to improve their service to the public in Irish, etc.
