We offer you the key to our language, starting in your own home, at your own pace. You can soon be an independent speaker of Irish. Here's how.

* Watch a video clip a few times until you start to match the words with the actions.

* Mouth over the words without voicing as you listen, so you can hear and practice at the same time, but don't try to pronounce anything out loud until you have heard it many times. Then start to pronounce out loud, but in private. It's like a jigsaw puzzle – the more pieces you get into place, the easier it becomes to get the rest. The colour-coded .pdf's below the clips should help: they will draw your attention to the changes within words that effect meaning, but dont use the .pdf's without the sound until you're very sure you're pronouncing well. You will very soon have perfect pronunciation and understand the basics of Irish. This site will use NO grammatical jargon: you will acquire this internally, as you did with your first language as a child.

* Use the Sounds of Irish page as a reference and do similar practice with these excerpts. You can print out the scripts for these, but only 'read' when listening to the soundfiles, so you are certain to be understood when you speak!

You have SUCCEEDED in the hardest and most important part and are already well into phase 2 - starting to piece together the puzzle, unlocking the door. When complete, our video series will have given you the essential core language. This is your solid foundation. Next comes actual interaction in Irish. This is done on our live activity sessions during which you will USE and improve your new skill, quickly becoming an independent Irish speaker.

Our system is the most up to date and effective available anywhere and our activity sessions add to this FREE, online service. Click here for an explanation of our methods which are constantly being revised and updated as our thorough research continues. Click here to see a summary of our work.

NOTE: As with all formulas or recipes, if you leave out any element or ingredient, or do things in a different order, you will get something different. It is crucial to accept this or you will waste your time. Use of this website as recommended will ensure your success.
